On the pricey side ($25/pp) for dim sum. Parking can be tough in the area. Came during the week day lunch and was able to be seated immediately . Has many of your typical dim sum items. Quality was fine. I wouldn't necessarily say any particular dish stood out, but a solid spot to get dim sum if I was in the area.

The OG dim sum spot. Complete with the OG mystery pink soap in the bathrooms and the kitchen ladies wearing rainboots. Iykyk. Most of the dim sum items are excellent. Favorites include the abalone sticky rice in lotus leaf, Shu Mai, spare ribs, stuff tamago tofu, bbq pork buns, and stuffed bean curd wraps. Disappointingly, the har gow (in the shape of a bunny for the kiddos) is a miss. The skin is too thick and chewy. Also a miss are the seafood dumplings (seafood not fresh and dumpling falls apart). The you tiao in the doughnut rice rolls were also not crispy- would skip this next time. Come early to avoid the crowds.

Everyone has to be present to be seated so they can get people in and out quickly. The food was great! The standout to me was the lo mai gai which came with chicken and abalone. I also loved their casiu baos because it's hard to find places that come with the sugary crust for that contrast of sweet and salty! The baos were so soft, had the crunchy top, and were filled with meat! The ha cheung was also good but the sesame rolls were a bit too sweet. Would come back to try my usual set of dishes like ha gao and siu mai!

I took a day trip to SF with my visiting family and, as Viet people, we were of course looking for a good dim sum spot for Sunday brunch. Most people online said Hong Kong Lounge was the best spot in the area, so we thought we'd give it a try. They had a lot of good, classic dim sum options and the wait for a table and food were not long at all. I guess it was also so good that a celebrity also came here for a date and was sat at the table next to me! Food was great and I would definitely come back.

Substantial line forming before they were even open, so if you're planning on going on a Sunday better get there before 10am! Service was okay, but there was a big wait in between our first 5 or 6 dishes and the last 2 we had ordered. Food was solid. I loved everything we tried, except for the coffee-flavored ribs. I like the flavor, but the meat was tough to eat. There's still so much I want to try on the menu, so of course I'll be back!

We stopped by here for dinner after a day trip in Marin. They offer a great menu with many different dishes at a very reasonable price. We started off with the peking duck which was delicious. The broccoli and oyster stir fry was also good. I loved their mixed grain fried rice - it was a nice change compared to the regular fried rice we usually get at restaurants. Service was decent. There was a large banquet at the tables next to us.

Love this place! My go to dim sum spot. The mushroom & tofu dish is delicious. Good egg yolk crab is amazing as well. Both have to order not on the main dim sum. The baked char siu Baos are also amazing! Service is always quick once you sit. Lovely and traditional restaurant inside!

Not many good dim sum places left, so bookmark this one! Either get here as soon as they open, or after 1PM. Once you get over the frustration of finding a parking spot, relax and enjoy their dim sum. Hong Kong Lounge has been a staple in this area for as long as I can remember. Their dim sum menu is comprehensive. We sampled quite a bit of their dim sum and there wasn't anything that didn't hit the mark. Service is typical where a waiter enters the item you checked off in the menu and the dim sum clerks will bring them to your table when ready. Ambiance is typical with loud people talking and shouting but that's the fun of Sunday dim sum.

Came here for brunch at 11am on a Sunday, got seated pretty quickly. I would say this is one of the better dim sum places in SF. The food came out fast and fresh -- all very solid. Porridge is a must have for me at dim sum places, some other highlights were the shrimp dumplings, turnip cake, bbq pork buns.
